in this blog i will be talking about shoes. i like shoes a lot. shoes are a very interesting topic for a lot of reasons. one reason why shoes are so interesting is that they have basically been around for ever and sense they have been around for so long there have been countless of different styles of shoes over the years. for example around the 50s and 60s NBA players used to play basketball in covers and now most people would not even consider playing in those.

another reason that shoes are so popular are the brands. different brands have different styles and those styles apply to different people. popular brands that people like are Nike Adidas Jordan vans under armor etc. for example if someone likes to skateboard they would probably want to get vans other than getting some Jordan or under armors. a big part of shoe brand are the materials that they use. for example Adidas in 2016 had a major blow up because of the new material that they use. they introduced a new type of cushioning called BOOST. boost made people pay attention to Adidas other than just Nike and Jordan. boost is so big now that most people think that it is the best type of cushioning ever. so because of this blow up of boost they put it in a lot of there shoes. Nike also had a material get popular over the summer, fly knit. they released the Nike fly knit racer and was extremely popular because of its upper witch is made of fly knit.

probably the biggest reason people get into sneaker collecting is because of celebrities. notice i did not say athletes i said celebrities. i said this because yes athletes make the majority of signature shoes but so do other famous people such as kanye west. kanye has his own shoe line with Adidas called yeezy. yeezys are extremely popular and can go up to around $1500. and if he wears a shoe in public that shoes price sky rockets. but the majority of celebrity's that make shoes popular are athletes mainly for basketball. so lets say that a little kid is a warriors fan he might want to get some kds because he is on the team and then he get the new ones every year just because he like the players.almost every popular basketball player has there own shoe for example lebron james, kevin durant, stephon curry, kyrie irving, damion lillard and more so if a kid likes that player he might want to get there shoes and that will just keep happening every years with new fans.
